There is a great feeling of accomplishment knowing that you’ve completed that which was assigned to you. For Jesus, that accomplishment was completed at the Cross. All the healings, all the teachings, all the miracles, all the prophecies pointed to the cross. Not just the cross as a form of death, but the cross as the means of forgiveness and reconciliation with God. Its there on the cross that Jesus will finally be able to say, “It is finished”.
